We are excited to announce that the next VODG Operations Directors' network meeting, available to you through your VODG membership, is open for registration. Join us online, 12 March 2024, 14.00-16.00.
We will welcome Sarah Woodhouse, Head of Policy and Influencing at VODG at the upcoming meeting. Sarah will provide us with a comprehensive update on the policy developments.
We will follow up with a group discussion led by Angela Murphy, Director of Operations and Business Development at Fitzroy, and Dan Gower-Smith, Group Director of Operations at Avenues. The group discussion will focus on strategies and approaches to handle closures/handbacks effectively. Once the group discussion is completed, we will move to breakout groups where we will have an opportunity to engage in further discussions and exchange ideas with our peers.
In the next session, we will have a legal expert share their perspective on CQC's activities, including inspection outcomes and enforcement. The insights shared will help us understand the legal implications of CQC's activities and how we can align our practices with the legal requirements.
Finally, we will break into further groups to discuss ideas around future topics. This will provide an opportunity for us to brainstorm and identify topics that are relevant to our work and of interest to our colleagues.
