VODG Marketing and Communications Professional Network Meeting | March 2026

The next meeting of the Marketing and Communications Professional Network is now open for booking.

Many members work with external providers—whether to boost capacity or to access specialist expertise. But how do you get the most value from these partnerships, and how do you assess the impact they deliver?

To explore the first question, we’re delighted to welcome Teri Jones, Director of The Comms Pro Ltd. Teri will share an honest, practical perspective from “the other side of the fence”:

  • what makes a great client
  • how to build and sustain a productive relationship
  • how to get the best results from your supplier
  • and how to address concerns when things aren’t going to plan, while keeping the relationship constructive.

Teri will also touch on how both sides can recognise when it may be time to move on.

We’ll then turn to the second question as a group, discussing how to evaluate the value of external suppliers, looking at impact, ROI, and the measures that matter most to senior leaders.

Our second topic focuses on internal communications. With audiences ranging from boards of trustees to frontline staff and service users, members need a range of approaches to communicate effectively. Speaker details will be confirmed shortly.

Finally, we’ll explore whether AI and emerging technologies can support internal communications. Are there tools that genuinely streamline processes or help reach hard-to-engage audiences? Members are encouraged to bring examples of what’s working—and what to avoid.

These are important, practical conversations for every senior charity marketer. Book your place today.
