The next meeting of the Marketing and Communications professional network is now open for booking, and will focus on the vital topic of accessible marketing communications.
The accessibility needs of the people supported by VODG members are varied, and everyone strives to make their communications accessible to everyone. This meeting is dedicated to helping members on this journey. We will hear from experts by experience, members who have invested in accessible marketing communications, and a speaker who specialises in helping organisations with this.
The event will start with a group discussion facilitated by the network co-chairs to ascertain what we all mean by accessibility, after which we will hear from people who have lived experience of the difficulties that arise when accessibility has not been considered, including Ellie Parfitt from Action Deafness.
Next we will be joined by Andrew Bright and Sara Danby from Thera, who are experts by experience in this subject. They will be sharing some of their own insights, top tips and quick wins, as well as provoking discussion among members around the considerations for accessible marketing communications.
Finally we are delighted to welcome Katie Humphries from Accessibility Made Easy, who will be speaking about how to approach accessibility, why it matters, and what members can do to improve their own digital communications.
This meeting is not to be missed, so book your place today.
