This year, the theme is #SeeHearUs. Deafblind UK’s campaign for Deafblind week has been developed alongside the people they work with, and calls for recognition of the skills, capabilities and abilities which every individual has.

VODG members Avenues Group and Golden Lane Housing, along with Norfolk County Council, have opened a new £3m supported living development, comprising homes that combine independent living with the right care and support, enabling people to live fulfilling lives in a place they can call home at the heart of their local community.

Natural Ability offers community-based sessions with the chance to work outdoors, where people can develop valuable land-based skills in horticulture, farming, and animal care. The organisation also supports individuals with diverse needs to live independently within their own homes with the right level of support for their individual needs.

We are delighted to welcome to VODG Clarion Housing Group, the UK’s largest housing association. Clarion Housing provides homes for more than 360,000 residents, builds more than 2,000 new homes every year, and runs one of the country’s biggest social investment programmes.

Sutton Mencap provides leisure, education and community services including clubs, day activities and skills development for children and adults.

VODG welcomes People in Action (Yorkshire), a charity that supports people to live independently through employment, volunteering, training, and social opportunities, with a strong focus on inclusion and community participation.

We are delighted to welcome Challengers to VODG, a charity that provides inclusive play and leisure services for disabled children and young people, including short breaks, youth schemes and family support.

Jewish Care provides community support and care rooted in Jewish values of dignity, respect, and connection. It offers services that help people lead better lives, supporting wellbeing, independence, and inclusion at every life stage within a caring, culturally grounded community.

New VODG member Camphill Milton Keynes provides a residential and community-based environment where adults live, learn and work together, with support through creative, horticultural and skills-based activities.

PossAbilities has been named the Sunday Times Health and Social Care Big Sector Winner for Best Places to Work 2026, in an award based entirely on feedback from employees.

Benefits are a lifeline for millions of disabled people in the UK, but this support is under threat. Sense is urging the Government: Act now to protect disability benefits and abandon plans for further cuts. Sign the petition to join the campaign.

With support from Cordis Bright, VODG members FitzRoy and KeyRing have published a white paper to help social care support providers and key partner organisations to think through responses to cuckooing.
