As a sector, we want to promote inclusion, including in our internal employment and leadership but we don’t know much about how we are really doing this. Thera Trust is exploring a research idea that would ask social care organisations how many people they currently have as an employee, volunteer or board member who has lived experience of a learning disability and what their roles are. This would help us have honest conversations about how we are doing and how we can get better. We are keen to hear from others who are interested in exploring this idea with us.
