Style Acre
Style Acre is an Oxfordshire-based charity that supports adults with learning disabilities and/or autism to live fulfilling, independent lives. Established in 1995, the organisation now supports more than 275 adults through a range of person-centred services designed to help people achieve their goals, develop skills, and be active members of their communities.
As an approved provider with Oxfordshire County Council, Style Acre delivers support ranging from 24-hour care for people with complex needs to more flexible support for those living independently. Their services include supported living accommodation, community hubs in Wallingford, Didcot and Banbury, a gardening project that promotes wellbeing and practical skills, employment support programmes, and a dedicated wellness initiative.
Style Acre’s mission is to provide supportive, creative and dynamic environments where people with learning disabilities and/or autism are valued as equals, can fulfil their potential, and live the life they choose. The charity is guided by the values of being caring, respectful, honest, ambitious and collaborative in everything it does.
Originally founded by parents of people with learning disabilities who wanted high-quality support for their family members, Style Acre has grown significantly over the past three decades and is recognised as a trusted provider of support across Oxfordshire.
