The next meeting of the Finance Director's professional network is now open for booking!
Once again we have a full agenda of topics pertinent to our members right now. Our first speaker is Sue Rathmell, VAT Partner at MHA MacIntyre Hudson, who will be speaking about VAT and trading subsidiaries; the issues, pros, cons and considerations.
Next there will be a member-led discussion around contract reviews and negotiations, where attendees can share successes and frustrations. We will compile our top three takeaways to give members tangible action points.
Our second speaker is Mark Salway, Lecturer in Charity Accounting and Financial Management at Bayes Business School, part of City University of London. Mark will be sharing his expertise in selecting and purchasing a new finance system, looking at, among other factors, the pitfalls to be aware of, and considerations for different sizes or types of organisation.

Richard
Richard joined Mencap from Settle, a Hertfordshire based Housing Association, where he was Executive Director of Finance and Resources. Before then, Richard worked in senior finance roles across a series of public and third sector organisations including Peabody, and Essex County Council.
