With financial pressures continuing across the sector, finance leaders are increasingly focused on balancing sustainability, resilience and value. This event brings together practical insights and shared learning from across the social care sector to help finance directors navigate today's challenges and identify opportunities for the future.
We'll begin with Securing Sustainable Uplifts, exploring what has helped providers successfully negotiate fee increases with commissioners, local authorities and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs). Delegates will hear practical examples of approaches, evidence and strategies that have supported constructive conversations and delivered positive outcomes.
The second session, Partnerships and Procurement, will focus on opportunities to achieve better value through collaboration. From joint purchasing arrangements and shared services to utilities, insurance and procurement frameworks, the session will highlight practical ways organisations can work together to reduce costs, strengthen purchasing power and maximise resources.
Finally, Reserves Strategy and Financial Resilience will examine how organisations can build long-term financial sustainability in an increasingly complex environment. The session will explore approaches to determining appropriate reserve levels, adopting risk-based financial planning, and understanding the impact of leases and right-of-use assets on organisational financial health.
Together, these sessions will provide finance leaders with practical ideas, peer insights and actionable strategies to strengthen financial resilience, improve value for money and support the long-term sustainability of their organisations.
