The Weekly Brief delivers fresh, high-impact content to help members stay informed about timely developments affecting operations, policy, and practice across the sector.

Editorial Focus

To ensure relevance and value, submissions should be timely, relevant and focused on recent developments. Examples include:

  • Shifts in government policy or sector regulations

  • Impactful - content should help members adapt to change, improve practice, or anticipate sector shifts.

Submissions should be informative and not promotional. Thought-leadership is welcome, but messaging should prioritise insight over promotion. Offers of support should remain secondary.

Where will Approved Submissions Appear?

Approved submissions will be featured in the sector news sections of the Weekly Brief, which is emailed to members and also available on the VODG website.

How do I Submit an Article?

  • Format - you can submit full articles, links to your own content, or newsletters and our editor can extract relevant sections.

  • Editorial Discretion - Inclusion is based on alignment with member interests and editorial tone.

Not Time-Sensitive? Try Partner News

The Partner News section offers a unique opportunity for our partners to highlight broader updates about their organisation, showcase significant achievements, and share valuable insights that reflect their work and contributions to the community*.
