VODG Participates in the National Conversation
Bulletin blurb:
For too long, people across the UK have felt that those making national policy have not listened to their views and three-quarters of adults feel the country is divided. The Independent Commission on Community and Cohesion has launched the National Conversation to change that by giving people a genuine opportunity to influence the future of the country. All people have to do is take eight minutes to complete the University of Oxford survey to share in their own words what unites us, what divides us, and how we can live well together.

VODG is participating in the National Conversation because every response will help build a richer, more representative picture of the nation's priorities and strengthen the final policy recommendations, which will be published later in the year. It is backed by partners including the British Red Cross, the NHS and Trussell Trust.
Your organisation can play a key role in ensuring the views of disabled people are represented in the final policy recommendations. Please share the link with your colleagues and people you support complete the survey by the end of August. If other formats are needed do get in touch and we can work with the commission to provide these.
