VODG launches new member online platform to boost connectivity and collaboration
VODG is today delighted to launch our new Professional network groups and Discussion forums to better enable members to connect, collaborate and share information.
The new member-only platform allows members to quickly and easily share intelligence and resources as well as post questions and engage in real-time chat.
In addition to the Professional network groups and Discussion forums are topic-specific Groups including a dedicated Coronavirus (COVID-19) Group in which members can come together to discuss issues solely related to the pandemic.
The Groups sit alongside other Professional network activities including regular meetings, keeping in touch calls, and ad-hoc sessions focussed on specific subjects.
The discussion forums will replace our existing COVID-19 Response Hubs and Member Q&A pages and bring together the VODG member online connectivity platforms in one place.
Dr Rhidian Hughes, chief executive of VODG, said: “We know how much our members value being able to connect with peers within the sector to share insights and ideas as well as consider challenges and solutions. Our new Professional network groups and discussion forums have been designed to enable members to have these online interactions with other VODG members under one virtual roof.
“The Groups have been trialled by co-Chairs of our Professional networks and have been developed with the needs of our members at the forefront of our minds. We will continue to innovate and look at ways to build on how we can enable our members to collaborate and connect in order to facilitate good practice and peer-to-peer support.”The VODG Professional networks are a key feature of the VODG membership.
