Lunch & Learn Webinar: Tackling Cuckooing Together - Wednesday 15 July 12:30-13:30

Cuckooing is an increasingly recognised form of exploitation, yet many organisations continue to face challenges in identifying risks and coordinating effective responses.

Join FitzRoy, KeyRing and Cordis Bright for a Lunch & Learn webinar exploring how organisations can work together to prevent and respond to cuckooing and related forms of exploitation affecting people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.

Drawing on findings from a white paper developed by FitzRoy and KeyRing in partnership with Cordis Bright, the session will explore how cuckooing presents in practice, the factors that increase vulnerability to exploitation, and the barriers that can limit effective intervention. Alongside practical insights and real-world examples, the session will introduce plans for a Cuckooing Prevention Group, a shared learning network which aims to support ongoing learning, resource development and collaboration across organisations.

The webinar includes a 40-minute presentation followed by a Q&A and discussion.

Who should attend?
Professionals working across social care, housing, health, safeguarding, community safety, criminal justice and advocacy, as well as anyone with an interest in preventing exploitation and improving outcomes for people with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs.
