Positive Behaviour Support

Survey that is part of a national scoping project which aims to better understand how PBS is used, with a view to helping shape future resources and support systems.

To whom it may concern,

We are a group of researchers from the University of South Wales ( in collaboration with Tizard Centre, University of Kent, University of Warwick, Bangor University, and Ulster University) who are currently exploring Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) services in the UK.

We are reaching out to professionals working in the UK, who currently use Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) to support people (of any age) with learning disabilities (or oversee other individuals who have this kind of role) to complete a brief online survey.  We are primarily interested in your background and experiences of implementing PBS.

We appreciate that there have been several calls for participation in PBS-related surveys recently; however, we sincerely hope that you consider the present invitation. This research work is part of a national scoping project which aims to better understand how PBS is used. Our hope is to gain clearer picture of practitioners' needs, with a view to helping shape future resources and support systems.

The survey can be completed anonymously and should take about 20 minutes to complete. Please click the link below for further information about the survey and details about how to complete.
