NHSE has published a consultation on a new Performance Assessment Framework it will take when judging ICB and provider performance. ‘Segmentation’ (i.e. judgements) will now be solely linked to delivery metrics. This is partly designed to support giving increased freedoms to high performing ICB and/or providers.
