VODG Chief Executive Dr Rhidian Hughes joined Social Care Minister Stephen Kinnock MP, union representatives and other leaders from across the care and support sector to discuss changes in the Employment Rights Act including the Adult Social Care Fair Pay Agreement and rules around union engagement. Collectively attendees shared their experience of working with unions, the need for the fair pay agreement to be properly funded and the need to reframe public sector commissioning if the Government's ambitions are to be fully realised.
