The Act completed its passage in Parliament and received Royal Ascent on 27 October. It aims to transform the experience of private renting, including by ending Section 21 ‘no fault’ evictions, bringing forward Awaab’s Law and introducing a Decent Homes Standard, new Ombudsman and database to help landlords.
