Food Experiences Research

Research project looking at food experiences and access to food of adults with learning disabilities in the UK.

Adult Food Interviews Research Poster.jpg

We are conducting a virtual, qualitative research project looking at food experiences and access to food of adults with learning disabilities in the UK.  We are looking to speak to adults with mild to moderate learning disabilities (that do not currently live in residential settings) about how and why they choose the foods they eat and what their access to food is like.

Participants will be compensated with a £15 voucher for their time. This project is funded by the University of Kent, and has received ethical approval from Tizard Centre Ethics Committee.

We would really appreciate your support disseminating this information and the attached research poster to your networks. Please contact Kayleigh or Suzy if you have any questions, or would like to participate!

Thank you in advance from the research team,

Kayleigh, Suzy and Michelle
