Autistic people and people with a learning disability often face barriers to screening which leads to lower uptake. Only 31.2% of women with a learning disability take up screening compared to 73.2% of the general population. Five films made by autistic women, and women with a learning disability, highlight their experiences and provide top tips to encourage more women to have cervical screening.
