Following the announcement that NHS workers will receive above-inflation pay rises, the Department of Health and Social Care published a blog explaining what the 2025 NHS pay award means for staff. Resident doctors will receive an average 5.4% increase, consultants and GPs 4%, and Agenda for Change staff 3.6%. The awards will be fully funded.
