Deadline extension : VODG Commission on COVID-19 Disablism and Systemic Racism Call for Views and Experiences
Thank you to all of those who have answered our Call for Views and Experiences for the VODG Commission on COVID-19 Disablism and Systemic Racism.
We are making sure that many of the voices that weren’t heard during COVID are heard now, particularly around whether your care and support were affected during the pandemic.
We have had such a positive response that we are extending our deadline by one week, until Monday 21st November 2022 to provide another opportunity to get your voice heard on this important issue.
As a quick reminder, we want to hear from disabled people with Black and Asian heritage, as well as family members and people who work in adult social care. We want to understand:
- How you were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic and government’s pandemic response,
- The key changes to the pandemic response that would have improved your experience,
- Any thoughts or ideas about how this Commission could address issues of inequality, particularly across adult social care.
Your input into the Commission research will form important learning for the future.
Please complete share your views and experiences via our survey or Easy Read survey.
