Social care must be top of domestic policy agenda – VODG backs cross-sector letter to next government
VODG today joined 14 other organisations to call on the newly elected government to “grasp the nettle” and prioritise adult social care and support to find a lasting solution when it comes into power next month.
In our letter, published in The Telegraph, we urge the country’s next leaders to put funding reform into action in order to deliver sustainable investment that would ensure older and disabled people and unpaid carers have timely access to the support they need, in the way they want it, to help them live their lives.Read the full text of the letter here.
