About the Role
We're looking for a passionate mobilisation lead to help deliver our ambitious transformation programme here at Sense.
Working closely with the head of mobilisation, director of transformation and operational leaders, you will lead projects that support the transition from residential care to supported living. You will work directly with services, commissioners and families to turn strategic plans into positive, person-centred change.
This is a hands-on delivery role where you'll spend time in services, solving problems, building relationships and ensuring transformation is delivered safely and with the people we support at its heart.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Transformation Delivery
- Lead mobilisation projects that support the transition from residential care to supported living.
- Turn strategic decisions into practical delivery plans with clear actions, ownership and milestones.
- Work alongside managers and frontline teams to implement change and embed new ways of working.
- Monitor progress, manage risks and support successful handover into business-as-usual operations.
Keep People at the Heart of Change
- Ensure every transformation is centred on the needs, aspirations and rights of the people we support.
- Work collaboratively with families, advocates, co-production colleagues and operational teams throughout the transformation journey.
- Help ensure change is delivered with care, honesty and respect, recognising the significance of people's homes, relationships and routines.
Build Strong Partnerships
- Bring together colleagues from operations, property, finance, HR, quality, digital, communications and other corporate teams to deliver successful change.
- Build productive relationships with commissioners, housing providers, local authorities and partner organisations.
- Facilitate workshops and planning sessions that create momentum and deliver practical outcomes.
Deliver Sustainable Services
- Support the development of safe, financially sustainable supported living models.
- Contribute to business cases, transition plans and service improvement activity.
- Consider property, tenancy, staffing, funding, regulation, referrals and future demand to ensure services are built for long-term success.
- Use insight, data and feedback to inform decisions and continuously improve future transformations.
About You
You will be an experienced change or mobilisation professional who enjoys working alongside teams to deliver meaningful improvements.
You will have:
- Experience leading or coordinating service transformation, mobilisation or operational improvement.
- Good knowledge of supported living, residential care, disability services, housing, health or social care.
- Experience working with frontline managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver practical change.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including experience working with commissioners, local authorities or housing partners.
- An understanding of service sustainability, budgets and commercial considerations.
- Excellent planning, organisational and communication skills.
- Confidence using digital systems and project management tools.
- A genuine commitment to person-centred services, inclusion and improving outcomes for disabled people.
