Join us on 8 October for an exclusive VODG member event, where you'll be guided through comprehensive energy audits. Discover how to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement effective improvements, illustrated with real-world examples.
An energy audit is one of the most effective ways to cut costs and carbon simultaneously—but only if it’s done right. In this in-depth session, Utility Aid’s expert audit team will guide VODG members through the full lifecycle of a professional energy audit, from initial site assessment through to final implementation.
Attendees will learn how to prepare for an audit, what data and documentation to gather, and what to expect on the day of the site visit. Utility Aid will break down the technical aspects of interpreting audit results, including identifying high-impact savings opportunities, prioritising actions, and calculating potential cost and carbon reductions.
Case studies from the care sector will illustrate how tailored recommendations can be put into practice, with before-and-after examples demonstrating real-world outcomes. Common areas of energy waste in care settings will be highlighted, and practical strategies for engaging staff and management in operational changes will be discussed.
Whether your organisation is new to energy audits or looking to enhance existing practices, this session will provide actionable tools and insights to drive meaningful savings across your sites.

Please note, should you have any accessibility requirements, we will do our best to make necessary arrangements to support you; however, we may require up to four weeks notice, so please list your requirements on the booking form. Closed captions are used as a standard in online meetings. If you have any questions, please email [email protected].
