Join us for a policy update, small group discussions on key topics, and resource sharing.
Join colleagues from across the VODG membership for the latest meeting of our Policy and Public Affairs Network.
This session will provide an opportunity to hear the latest policy updates impacting the social care sector, explore current political developments, and share intelligence and learning with peers. The agenda includes a VODG policy update, a discussion on securing a backbench debate and how this parliamentary mechanism can be used to raise the profile of key issues, and a briefing on the implications of the Autumn Budget for social care providers and the people they support.
The meeting will also provide dedicated time for members to share current priorities, campaigns and challenges, helping to identify opportunities for collective action and influence across the sector. We will conclude by discussing future topics and areas of focus for the network.
This meeting is designed for policy, public affairs and influencing professionals within VODG member organisations who want to stay informed, connected and engaged with the issues shaping the future of social care.
