VODG CEO Breakfast Meeting | March 2026

With a focus on the Spring Budget, the meeting provides an informal space for CEOs to come together to share insight and intelligence on policy and regulatory issues, and to collaborate on shared challenges and opportunities through joint learning, problem‑solving and collective action.

Our new series of CEO Breakfasts creates a dedicated space for CEOs to drop in and exchange developments, share good practices, explore challenges, and strengthen collaborative working. These sessions will also offer more frequent updates on VODG’s influencing activity and the issues shaping our sector.

While agendas will remain mostly open to ensure space for timely discussion, we’ll also use these breakfasts to provide deeper briefings on major moments in the political calendar — including the Spring Statement in March and the King’s Speech and Local Elections in May.

If there are topics you’d like to bring forward ahead of a meeting, we’d love to hear from you!

At this month's meeting, there will be an update from Richard Sagar, Head of Policy at the Charity Finance Group, on what the Spring Budget this week means for charities. Richard will also outline other finance changes and priorities for the sector in 2026/27. We will also be joined by James Bullion in his role leading on Casey Commission engagement at the Local Government Association, about the LGA’s new consultation on adult social care. We have also safeguarded some time at the end for members to raise any areas of shared concern or opportunities for collaboration.
