Sector comes together to address over-medication

People with learning disabilities, autism or both, family carers and professionals from across health and social care are meeting to tackle the overuse of psychotropic medication. Count me in! is the first cross-sector event of its kind aimed at promoting a collaborative approach to addressing over-medication.

Delegates will hear the latest news concerning the policy context from NHS England, learn about an exciting range of initiatives that are successfully tackling over-medication and access resources to support their own work.

The day will end with a masterclass by Rob Geraghty, founder of The Wow Factor, in how to communicate with passion and authenticity and be an effective ambassador for STOMP.
