Regional events to develop the 'transforming care' workforce
Skills for Care and VODG are working together to support the workforce development requirements for Building the right support. Following an earlier event in London a series of regional events are now planned to identify the skills and knowledge needed to support people with learning disabilities and/or autism, who display or are at risk of displaying behaviour which challenges.The regional events are:
- Friday 17 November 2017 at the Greenhills Centre, County Durham.
- Monday 20 November 2017 at Sale Lifecentre, Greater Manchester.
- Monday 27 November 2017 at Taunton Rugby Football Club.
The work is being co-produced and we welcome the involvement of people who use services, families and providers.
