VODG appoints new trustees to its Board

1 October 2021 VODG is delighted to announce the appointment of two new trustees to its Board.Azra Kirby, Chief Executive of St Anne’s Community Services and Mel Shad, Director of Business and Development at Choice Support, will formally join the Board at VODG’s Annual General Meeting on 29 November.

Azra and Mel were appointed following the launch of a recruitment campaign in which VODG sought to fill two vacancies as well as continue to ensure more balance and representation on the Board and enhance its diversity.

Tim Cooper, Chair of VODG, said:

“I am delighted to confirm the appointment of Azra and Mel. Both bring a wealth of knowledge from their respective areas of expertise and their organisation’s services provision.
