Join us on 15 July from 10:00 to 15:00 at NCVO in Central London for a day of insightful discussions, networking, and sector updates. This event is designed for senior colleagues in operations, quality, and safeguarding to connect, share knowledge, and gain valuable insights.
We have a full and varied agenda for this event, which is not to be missed.
After networking and refreshments on arrival, we will set the scene for the day with an interaction session asking “what is inspiring you in health and social care?”, before welcoming back to the network Harry McElwee from the Department for Work and Pensions. Harry will be speaking about the implications of recent benefits reform and the PIP refreezing process.
With the rapid advances in AI, after a short break we will hear from a speaker about the challenges AI poses to governance and safeguarding, and how to navigate these in order to benefit from these new technologies.
Jonathan Taylor and Sabrina Meetaroo from Howden will take us up to lunch with their secor update and strategies for improving insurance premiums.
After a complimentary networking lunch, our co-chairs will lead a series of breakout groups on key issues for our members, afte which we will welcome Tim Coolican, Partner at Anthony Collins who will provide an update on Liberty Protection Safeguards, and the status of applications that remain unprocessed.
Our final speaker is Philip Boyce from CQC, focussing on safeguarding best practices, and providing insights from notifications over the last 12 months.
This is a face-to-face meeting to be held at the offices of NCVO in central London. Our face-to-face events are always popular so we recommend you book early to secure your place.
Please note that to ensure that as many member organisations as possible can attend, places are limited to one per organisation.
