Volunteer management summit event roundup
On 3 February 2016 we held a volunteer management summit. The event brought together volunteer managers, service managers and heads of service. Whist some participants were already running successful volunteer programmes others were looking to extend the involvement of volunteers in their organisations. Delegates heard from speakers from NCVO, Volunteering Matters, Certitude, RVS, Sue Ryder, Agenda and VODG.
The event builds on a volunteer management toolkit published by Voluntary Organisations Disability Group (VODG) and the National Care Forum (available to download below).
See #VODG16 for full coverage of the event.
This work was supported by the Department of Health, NHS England and Public Health England voluntary sector strategic partnership.
