VODG Chief Executives’ Network with Claire Murdoch | A Focus on Provider Collaboratives and Strengthening Relationships

Monday 8 November 2021, 11.30 – 12.30

We are delighted to share the details of our upcoming VODG chief executives’ network meeting, taking place 8 November, 11.30 – 12.30. We will be joined by Claire Murdoch, National Director for Mental Health, NHS England and improvement. Claire leads on learning disability, autism and mental health for NHSE/I and will be discussing her vision for provider collaboratives and how we can strengthen relationships with the voluntary sector.

We encourage members to come prepared with questions, ideas and opportunities for discussion.

NHS-led provider collaboratives bring together local partners from a range of backgrounds to take control of funding, the design and delivery of community services. The success of this approach is likely to be predicated on local people and communities, alongside voluntary sector organisations, being brought in from the outset to co-produce and co-design approaches.

Working under the VODG umbrella we are bringing together member chief executives to explore how voluntary sector providers can respond to these developments effectively, and ensure they are best positioned to make a success of provider collaboratives. This event follows on from the earlier discussion with members around Integrated Care Systems.
