CQC have recently changed the way they inspect care services. Following a pilot scheme, they are intending to focus on a small number of outcomes in their inspections, but will be doing so in more depth. Their new method of inspecting means that they will be spending more time speaking with or observing service users and their care. They will also be making all inspections unannounced.
So how can you be prepared for your next inspection? This one day course will show you how to look in depth at specific outcomes; and how to ensure that you have the right evidence available to demonstrate your service’s compliance to CQC. It will also look at what to expect and how to respond on the day of the inspection, which will take place without any prior notice.
