Havencare was established as a charity in 1987 and has built a reputation as one of the leading organisations in South Devon for supporting people who have a learning disability and behaviours that challenge. The organisation prides itself on its ability to be flexible in all aspects of its work. People’s needs change, and any service which supports individuals must have the ability to absorb those changes and support people to grow and move on in their lives. The primary purpose of Havencare is to support people to gain independence and enjoy equal rights within their chosen communities.
